Hello!

I am Ms. Kelling.

I am very excited about working with the Middle School students in Writers Workshop. After a successful venture in the corporate arena, a non-profit organization, and as a hands-on mom, I look forward to sharing my life experiences with the students.

We can all learn new things every day. In a sharing and caring environment, such as ours, I am sure to learn many new things from everyone! I believe strongly in the term “life long learner”.

My son, Slade, is an important reason for my following my dream of teaching. Tim is a benevolent source of constant support and laughter in my home life. “The boys” give me an endless supply of writing prompts and experiences to add to the real life attitude I wish to instill in the classroom. As a family we are fortunate to live in the beauty of the area, enjoy the company of friends and stir up the kitchen when time permits!
