After graduating from St. Joseph's College I discovered Southern Colorado when I was a VIDA volunteer in San Luis. During the year of being a parish worker I knew I wanted to be a teacher full time. Though my family was back east, the mountains had stolen my heart. I decided to work in Pueblo while earning my teaching certificate. I substitute taught in District 60 for a semester before coming to Westcliffe. I received my masters in Special Education--mild to moderate needs in May of 2003 from Adams State College. |
