Ray worked as a refuge manager fo the U.S, Fish and Wildlife Service, and because of his job, we moved frequntly around the country. I have taught in North Dakota, Maine, Arizona and North Park, Colorado. All of my teaching experince has been in secondary language arts.

I grew up in Maine and attended a small liberal arts college in Maine. Ray and I have two daughters, one granddaughter and a grandson who live in Massachusetts. I love living close to the mountains and I look forward to hiking and camping in the Sangres.
