Classes:

ALGEBRA II:

The continuing algebra course provides intensive coverage of algebraic concepts. The student applies previously mastered skills to concepts such as functions and relations, complex numbers, radical expressions and equations, advanced polynomials, conic sections, logarithms, and matrices.

GEOMETRY:

This course introduces students to multi-dimensional problem solving and logical proofs. Students develop spatial thinking skills as applied to trigonometry, constructions, and coordinate geometry. Algebraic problem-solving methods are used in a geometric context.

TRIGONOMETRY/ PRE-CALCULUS:

This college preparatory course is designed for students interested in science, engineering, or technology careers. It provides comprehensive coverage of topics necessary for entrance into college level Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Probability and Statistics. A semester of trigonometric problem solving techniques and applications is followed by topics including conic sections, introductory vector analysis, series and limits, and introductory calculus concepts.

CALCULUS :

This course is designed to provide the student a conceptual understanding of key calculus ideas and their applications from both a graphical and numerical perspective. Students will systematically investigate the central ideas of calculus – limits, differentiation, and integration – to deepen their understanding of finite functions and explore concepts of infinite processes and their applications to real- world phenomena.
